# Satzstrom Examples

Seven documents, each with its own design. Click a preview to open its PDF, or use the source code as a starting point.

Create an editable example project with Node.js 20 or newer on Windows x64 or Linux x64. Satzstrom copies its files and installs its dependencies:

```sh
npm install -g satzstrom
satzstrom init my-invoice --example invoice
satzstrom dev my-invoice/document.tsx --data my-invoice/data.json
```

- `specimen-book` — Specimen book
- `deep-space-atlas` — Space atlas
- `enterprise-board-pack` — Board report
- `invoice` — Invoice
- `aurelis-material-notes` — Material magazine
- `mathematics` — Mathematics paper

Use any of these names with --example. To add an example to an existing project, run `satzstrom add invoice.tsx --example invoice`. Additional files go into `invoice.assets`. Follow the printed commands, including the explicit data path when the example uses data.

## Beyond the room

The [Wright article source](https://github.com/LukasB97/satzstrom/tree/main/examples/beyond-the-room) lives alongside the other examples. Its photographs load directly from the Library of Congress and Wikimedia Commons during rendering. Sources and licence terms are in `credits.txt`. Create it with `satzstrom init beyond-the-room --example beyond-the-room`, then run `satzstrom dev beyond-the-room/document.tsx`; no data file is required.
