# Satzstrom 0.1.4 Public Preview

Satzstrom 0.1.4 is an early, complete product preview intended for real evaluation. The current preview version receives bug fixes without a support SLA. Public APIs may change during 0.x; breaking changes are explained in the changelog with migration notes.

Version 0.1.4 supports Windows x64 and Linux x64. Installation and local document commands require Node.js 20 or newer. Preview binaries are unsigned, so the operating system may require an extra confirmation on first run. SHA-256 checksums are published for every artifact.

Documents, data, previews, and PDFs stay on the local machine. Satzstrom contains no telemetry and requires no cloud rendering service.

## Licensing

The primitives, launcher, documentation, and public examples use the MIT License. Manual commercial document creation and output are free. Automated commercial document production requires an Enterprise license; the [Enterprise page](/enterprise.md) explains how to start that conversation without implying a public price or service level.

## Known limits

- Unsigned and unnotarized preview binaries can trigger system warnings.
- macOS, Linux ARM64, and Windows ARM64 are not supported in this preview.
- Output uses sRGB. CMYK separation, spot colours, and PDF/X are not included.
- Transformed, clipped, or sticky containers and complex grid row spans are deliberately diagnosed when they cannot fragment safely.

Run `satzstrom check document.tsx --strict` to treat layout warnings as errors.
