Satzstrom 0.1.4. Where it runs and what to know before using it.
- Platforms
- Windows x64 and Linux x64 with Node.js 20 or newer. macOS and ARM64 are not currently supported.
- Preview status
- Version 0.1.4 is a public preview. Breaking changes may occur during the 0.x series. Binaries are not yet signed, so your operating system may show a warning on launch.
- Local processing
- Satzstrom renders documents on your computer and sends no telemetry. Installation and one-time setup download the required files.
- Support
- Questions and bug reports go through GitHub. Response and resolution times are not guaranteed.
- Output limits
- PDF output uses sRGB. CMYK, spot colors and PDF/X are not supported. Layouts that cannot safely split across pages are reported through diagnostics.
Use and licensing
The Community Binary License covers personal work, manual commercial document creation, and automated development or testing. Automated commercial document production requires an Enterprise license.
Primitives, the launcher, documentation, and public examples use the MIT License.
