Website access.

Even a purely static website needs connection data to send content to your browser.

Connection data: Technically necessary information is processed when the website is requested. This can include IP address, time, requested address, transferred data volume, referrer, user agent, connection information, and status information.
Purpose: Processing serves only to deliver the website, ensure its technical stability and security, and investigate faults or attacks.
Legal basis: The legal basis is Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest is reliable and secure operation of this website.

Satzstrom itself creates no visitor profiles and operates no analytics or access-log system. Connection data is processed for technical transmission. If security or error logs are created exceptionally, they are deleted once they are no longer required to investigate the specific event. They are retained longer only when a security incident or legal obligation requires it.

Hosting.

The web server runs at a German infrastructure provider.

The hosting provider is Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen. Hetzner processes data required for hosting and network connectivity as a processor under Article 28 GDPR. The server is in Nuremberg, Germany. Processing therefore takes place within the European Union and European Economic Area. Satzstrom initiates no transfer to a third country for operating this website.

We do not disclose data to other recipients unless this is required to prevent or investigate a specific security incident or to comply with a legal obligation.

No profiles, cookies, or browser storage.

The website embeds no external analytics, advertising, video, or font services.

The website has no user accounts, newsletters, contact forms, or other input fields. All fonts and website files are delivered from its own server. An external website is contacted only after you follow a clearly identified link; that provider's privacy terms then apply.

Satzstrom uses no cookies or browser storage. Language versions are selected through their URLs and ordinary links.

Your rights.

These rights arise in particular from Articles 15 through 21 GDPR.

Access and correction: You can request access to your personal data and correction of inaccurate or completion of incomplete data.
Erasure and restriction: You can request erasure or restriction of processing where the statutory conditions are met.
Data portability: You have a right to data portability where the statutory conditions are met.
Objection: You can object to processing based on Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for reasons arising from your particular situation.

To exercise your rights, send a message to lukas@lb-engineering.org. Under Article 77 GDPR, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The competent authority is in particular the State Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information North Rhine-Westphalia.
